Michelle’s Story
Misdiagnosed meningitis case resulting in traumatic brain injury
Sixteen years ago, Michelle and her husband Sean’s lives changed forever. A few days after taking Sean to the hospital with flu-like symptoms, his condition deteriorated. Sean sustained severe brain injuries as a result of complications caused by TB meningitis. Tragically, these injuries were preventable and were, in part, a result of medical negligence.
