Yvonne graduated from law school at UBC in 2005 and started her career at a small, plaintiff-only personal injury firm. She was fortunate to gain not only valuable trial and appellate advocacy experience in the early days of her career but more importantly, compassion and a determination to achieve justice for her injured clients. In 2014, she joined the Parsons Corrin LLP team.
Throughout her career, Yvonne has been privileged to advocate for the rights of injured plaintiffs at all levels of court in B.C. She has had cases involving traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, chronic pain, orthopedic injury, and psychiatric and psychological disorders; in other words, a wide range of conditions that have affected and continued to impact a person’s ability to work and to enjoy their social and recreational life.
Litigation in the justice system is a complicated maze at the best of times. Yvonne’s goal is to ensure that her clients feel well represented and knowledgeable throughout the process, that they have access to all of the necessary therapies and treatments they need during their rehabilitation and recovery, and that they are fairly compensated for the losses and harms they have suffered.
When she is not at work, Yvonne spends her time with her husband and three boys, as well as her dog. She enjoys camping, travelling, playing the piano, and curling up with a blanket and a great book.
