Brain injuries affect survivors and their loved ones in so many ways – emotionally, physically and financially. The Brain & Injury Law team is proud to support people in the brain injury community whenever they can. It’s not just the right thing to do, it feels good too.

Brain & Injury Law is also pleased to sponsor many conferences and activities including:

Annual Adopt-a-Family Christmas Program

Our Brain & Injury Law family enjoys helping others throughout the year -especially at Christmas. We work with organizations to bring holiday cheer to low-income families affected by brain injury (sustained through illness or trauma) who are unable to obtain financial support for these injuries through the legal process.

With the help of JR Rehab Services Inc and many others, we raise money to buy new toys, clothes and food for these well-deserving families. This is such a joyous opportunity for us to support the brain injury community. After the Crash theatre performance

We cultivate the arts and were pleased to sponsor a special theatre performance with Vancouver Coastal Health and Connect Communities to raise awareness of traumatic brain injuries to a wider community. After the Crash is a research-based play performed by Ruckus Ensemble. Originally developed by the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and the University of Toronto, it is based on the experiences of brain injury survivors, their families and healthcare providers.

Lunch & Learn at VGH

We sponsor informative “Lunch & Learn” sessions for the neurosciences department at Vancouver General Hospital. We invite speakers to talk about a variety of topics to educate the hospital’s medical and research staff on issues relating to brain injury to better help patients and their loved ones.

Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference

Brain & Injury Law has been proud to support and sponsor the annual Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference (PCBIC) since it began over 20 years ago. Today it is the leading conference for the brain injury community in BC. Learn more about the PCBIC.

Brainstreams.ca online resource

Brain & Injury Law also supports Brainstreams.ca, the leading online information and educational resource for the brain injury community in BC. Created by the Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference Society, this website provides support to thousands affected by brain injury, including survivors, their families and loved ones, and their caretakers.
