Gregory Hoff

Gregory’s practice is focused on representing injured individuals in disputes involving insurance companies. Through his extensive experience as an advocate Gregory has developed a specialty in cases involving complex neurological injuries and represents clients before all levels of court in British Columbia.

Prior to making the decision to focus on representing individuals in disputes involving insurance companies Gregory was a partner at a large international law firm and prior to that he worked as in-house counsel in the Claims Legal Services Department of a large auto insurance corporation in British Columbia. He has acted as lead counsel in personal injury claims, construction disputes, product liability claims, intellectual property matters, employment matters, real-estate disputes, professional liability disputes, defamation claims, and claims against corporate officers and directors.  Gregory also has extensive experience representing government agencies and road maintenance contractors.

Gregory is a skilled negotiator and has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, having represented clients in mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences. He credits his success to his unwavering commitment to prompt, personable service and his attention to detail.

Gregory is very effective in establishing clients’ particular needs and providing legal services that meet those needs in a timely manner. He applies creative problem-solving to all aspects of the litigation process, and has developed an approach to litigation that is results-oriented and focused on addressing the unique needs of each individual client.

On a personal level Gregory is an avid hockey player, snowboarder, mountain-biker, fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. He is actively involved in coaching youth soccer in North Vancouver.
